Case Study: Full Face Restructure
The Patient
This patient was a colleague of Dr Ruth, and she had several features that she wanted to have realigned by non-surgical aesthetics techniques.
Since she worked with Dr Ruth, she was already fully aware of what procedures would be involved to achieve a great result, and she was happy for her to treat and correct all the features in one demonstration session for other clinicians to observe.
Previously, botulinum toxin had been used to correct the 'gummy smile' and to open the eyes and lift and lighten the brow.
The Procedure
The face was beautifully metamorphosed in one single three-hour session and the areas treated and corrected were:
Chin - which was brought forwards into a better profile alignment
Lips and perioral tissues - which were given better volume and projection
Cheeks - which were developed into a sculptured shape
Tear troughs - which were softened to reduce the under-eye shadowing
Jawline - which was straightened and given more definition
The Results
The photos below show the before and immediate post-operative results and reveal how the procedures were carried out without causing any noticeable bruising or swelling. It is a beautiful demonstration of what can be achieved by use of non-dermal fillers and botulinum toxin.
